MORE INFORMATION ABOUT PLAY U15 SPRING (INTRO TO CONTACT) PROGRAMMING
Evolution Hockey’s Spring U15 PLAY program is dedicated to getting athletes born in 2011 and 2010 ready for the upcoming season of contact.
Two sessions per week:
Monday sessions will be 1.5 hours of introduction to contact, combined with our Evolution. Hockey skill development in order to help athletes improve their hockey ability and learn to give and receive contact in a safe controlled environment.
Sunday sessions are 1 hour dedicated to small area games with contact focus. Allowing athletes to get a ton of contact reps in a safe controlled environment, al while playing games and having fun!
LIVE GAME SITUATIONS/ SMALL AREA GAMES
Players will be put into live game situation-type drills/ small area games where they will have to read, react, and make decisions under live pressure. The goal of putting the players in these situations is that the players will work on/ execute the above themes and skills in a live game-like situation.
