  • What is Evolution Goaltending?

Evolution Goaltending is a branch of, and runs within the structure of, Evolution Hockey. What does that mean? The majority of the offered programs integrate both goaltenders and players. Each on-ice session, the participating goaltender(s) will spend an allotted amount of time with one of our passionate and dedicated goalie coaches working on goalie-specific technique and tactics. For the remainder of the skate, the goaltender(s) will take part in highly-competitive game-situational drills, small area games and scrimmages that will test and enhance important aspects of the position like stance, skating, depth management, compete level and goalie IQ.

  • What is the Evolution Goaltending Network?

The Evolution Goaltending Network includes all branches of the Evolution Goaltending program. The Evolution Goaltending Network consists of the following programs:

  • Mentorship Program
  • Evolution Hockey Club (EHC)
  • Evolution Play
  • JumpStart for Goalies
  • Saint-John’s Ravenscourt (SJR)
  • St. Emile
  • Does Evolution Goaltending conduct 1-on-1 private sessions?

Yes, we absolutely do. Each 1-on-1 private session includes a practice plan designed specifically for the participating goaltender. In addition, our cameras will be rolling during the private session allowing our coaches to provide instant visual feedback. Our coaches will use that raw video to create and provide a 3-4 minute video package that will be shared with the goaltender no longer than 24-hours following the session.

Private 1-on-1 sessions are limited due to ice availability. With that said, please send us a message through the ‘Contact Us’ page to inquire if you are interested.

  • How do I inquire about goaltending spots within Evolution Hockey programs or Evolution Goaltending 1-on-1 private/ semi-private sessions?

The best way to inquire about getting your goaltender involved in one of the many Evolution Hockey programs that run throughout Spring, Summer, and Fall/ Winter – or any available 1-on-1 private/ semi-private sessions – is to send us an email through our ‘Contact Us’ page.
