The Evolution Hockey Semi-Private Goaltending program will run for the second consecutive year during the 2024/25 season. It will consist of four groups of three goalies with one dedicated coach assigned to each group (1:3 coach-athlete ratio). That coach will remain with the group for the entirety of the program.

The 17-week goalie-specific program will begin by focusing on the fundamentals and foundations of the position. These include stance, skating, eyes/ vision and positioning. As the program progresses, the development plan for each group may change based on the goaltender’s needs. This plan will be created and tweaked by the group’s respective coach following the first few sessions.

 Along with covering the foundations of the position, critical habits will be explained like pace, scanning, puck collection, puck play, battle/ compete, etc. In addition, tactical strategies, post play, and goalie IQ may be spoken about and enhanced.
